Tamworth NH – Brian John Scogin passed away suddenly at his home in Tamworth October 12, 2015.

Brian was born in Quonset Point, Rhode Island and was the son of Dorothy and Travis (Tex) Scogin of Conway, New Hampshire (both deceased).   He attended Conway schools and graduated from Kennett High.   Brian is survived by seven siblings, Travis Scogin and wife Linda of Somersworth, NH; Deborah (Scogin) Morneau and husband Robert, Portland, ME; Doreen Scogin, Tamworth, NH; Beth (Scogin) LaPete and husband Steven, Tamworth, NH; Kevin Scogin and wife Debbie, St. Augustine, FL; Donna (Scogin) Rochussen and  husband Gary, Center Conway, NH and Matthew Scogin and fiancé Patricia Hansen, Porter, ME.  He is also survived by six nephews, 2 nieces and 8 great nieces and nephews, and cousins Bruce and Marie Knox and family, of Conway, NH.

Brian will be best remembered by his family for his sense of humor and deep appreciation for fast cars and Harley-Davidsons.  His happiest times were spent in the company of his brothers, nephews and friends touring the countryside on their Harleys.

The family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the Tamworth police and rescue services and to Lord Funeral Home.  A private celebration of Brian’s life will be conducted for the family in lieu of traditional services.
