Carlina Mugridge French, 82, of Rochester and formerly of Tuftonboro and Wolfeboro, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Rochester Manor.

She was born In Wolfeboro, NH, April 28, 1935 the daughter of the late Donald and Eleanor (Howe) Mugridge.  Carlina had lived in the Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro area for most of her life and was a graduate of Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro.

Carlina was the owner of Punk’s Powder Puff on Tuftonboro Neck Road, Tuftonboro, NH.  She also had been employed as a hairdresser in the Wenham, MA area for many years, before returning to the New Hampshire Seacoast that she loved so dearly.

Carlina was the widow of the late Norman A. French.

She is survived by her son Michael P. French of Belmont, NH and her beloved granddaughter Chrisi M. French of Aurora, CO.

There will be no calling hours.  Services will be private.
