Christopher “Chris” Alan Lyman, aged 49, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 surrounded by family, friends, and his loving girlfriend Crystal Barrows.

 Chris was born July 8, 1968 in Wolfeboro, N.H. and grew up and spent his entire life in Silver Lake, N.H. Chris is survived by his mother, Eleanor Lyman of Silver Lake, N.H.; his sister Kim Feinstein and her husband Steven Feinstein; his nephews Jacob and Zachary Feinstein all of Acton, MA; as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles. Chris was predeceased by his father, Brian P. Lyman.

Chris enjoyed a childhood spent with many friends and cousins on High Street biking and swimming and later boating, jet skiing and having many mud-filled dirt bike and ATV adventures. He was a 1986 graduate of Kennett High School and went on to work for his uncle at Silver Lake Auto Body. He was a member of the Madison Volunteer Fire Department for more than 20 years and held the rank of Captain and Deputy Chief. For many years, he was also the treasurer of the Madison Firefighters Fund. He spent the last 20 years working for MacDonald Motors as the body shop manager and was renowned for his attention to detail. Chris enjoyed many summers riding his motorcycle and winters sledding in the White Mountains, along with several trips out west.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Madison Church, Madison N.H. on Monday,  April 2 at 3:00 p.m. Attendees are invited to wear their “Team Chris”  shirts, pins, or the colors representing  pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors – black, white and purple, if desired.
