Everett S Albee II

January 28, 2016

Everett Stetson Albee II, son of Allen H. Albee and Lillian Locke Albee, born July 11, 1929 passed away peacefully at Mountain View Nursing Home, Ossipee, NH on January 28t, 2016 after a long and eventful life.

Everett was named after his grandfather, a native of Wolfeboro, NH and a local jeweler with a shop on Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.

Everett graduated in 1947 from Brewster Academy and was a lifelong Wolfeboro resident and business owner in town. Many will remember his dry humor, quick wit, and storytelling – legendary in the area. Everett loved National Geographic, animals, guns and politics. As the son of Allen and Lillian, he grew up at the “Allen-A-Resort” on the shores of Lake Wentworth in Wolfeboro NH. Though he did not inherit his father’s love of showmanship, he was a born entrepreneur and operated many businesses, most recently Albee Contractors.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Albee, Wolfeboro, NH, his children, E. Stetson Albee III and his wife Christine, Wolfeboro, NH; William “Chip” Albee and his wife Pamela, Tuftonboro, NH; Tonya Albee and her companion Robert Eaton, Jaffrey, NH; and Alana Albee and her husband Graham Boyd, Tuftonboro, NH, a step-son Stuart and Madelyn Albee, of Wolfeboro, NH as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Gifts in his memory should go to the Lakes Region Humane Society, Ossipee, NH 03864.

Calling hours will be from 1:00 to 3:00PM on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro, NH.
