Frank C. Meserve, Jr., 92 passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the NH Veterans Home in Tilton, NH following a period of declining health.

Frank was a native and long- time resident of Freedom.  He was born September 29, 1924 the son of the late Frank and Marguerite (Emerson) Meserve.  He had attended local schools.  He worked as a self -employed contractor/builder all of his life.

Frank had served his country in the US Army during WWII and had fought in the Battle of the Bulge.  He was a member of the Carroll Lodge 57, F&AM of Freedom, NH for over fifty years.  He was also a member of the Bektash Temple, Concord, NH, a member of the Freedom Grange and a long-time member of the First Christian Church of freedom.  Frank loved sports and was an avid Red Sox fan.

He was predeceased by his wife of 62 years Virginia (Davis) Meserve.

He is survived by his children Michael Meserve, Edwards, NY; Alan Meserve and his wife Doris, Center Ossipee, NH; Larry Meserve and his wife Nancy, Lunenburg, MA; Tandra Broyles and her husband David, Cedar Bluffs, VA, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.  He also leaves behind a brother David Meserve, Freedom, NH and a sister Patricia Waterman, Wolfeboro, NH as well as several nieces and nephews.  Frank was predeceased by his siblings Thelma Harmon; Frances Buswell; Alice Haslett; Robert Meserve; Arthur Meserve; Paul Meserve; Gordon, Meserve; Norman Black; Richard Black and Harlan Black.

There will be no calling hours.  Memorial Services will be held Saturday, May, 13, 2017 at 2:00PM at the First Christian Church of Freedom, Freedom, NH.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Freedom, NH following the service.
