Helen Mildred Whall (Cahill), 86 of Melvin Village, passed away, Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at her home.

Helen was born November 7, 1927 in Revere, MA the daughter of the late Joseph F. Cahill Sr. and Bertha (Greenwood) Cahill. She attended Revere High School and lived in the area for several years until she and her husband William C. Whall moved to Tuftonboro in 1975.

She was a member of the Moultonborough Lions Club and assisted with Meal on Wheels in the local area. She was a member of the American Legion auxiliary, Unit #0018. Her passion had been making homemade crafts and Jewelry. She also enjoyed knitting items for friends and family. Helen also liked to go to Atlantic City and Foxwoods to have a chance at playing her luck.

Helen is survived by her son William S. Whall and his wife Angela of Wellington, FL, two granddaughters, Brianna and Lindsey also of Wellington, FL, and was predeceased in November by her husband (William), and also predeceased by her brother, Joseph F. Cahill Jr.

A Time of celebration will be held at 12:30 PM with a Christian Mass beginning at 1:00 PM on Saturday January 4, 2014 at Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro. Graveside Service at Townhouse Cemetery, Tuftonboro, NH Saturday June 7, 2014 at 12:30pm.
