Welcome to the memorial page for

Linda M (Blais) Pinault

September 2, 1947 ~ August 29, 2016 (age 68) 68 Years Old

Linda M. (Blais) Pinault of Wolfeboro, NH and formerly of Attleboro, MA passed away on August 29, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease and Lewy Body Dementia.  She was lovingly cared for by the excellent team at Frisbee Memorial Hospital and by her husband of forty years, Leonard P. Pinault.

Linda was born September 2, 1947 to Omer J. and Nettie (Johnson) Blais.  She graduated Attleboro High School in 1965 and attended Bridgewater State before pursuing a career in banking with the former Attleboro Savings Bank.  Beginning as a teller, Linda rose to the position of Assistant Vice-President, Branch Administrator.  During her work-life, Linda continued her education, graduating in 1980 from the 3 year program by The National School of Savings Banking held at Fairfield University.  Linda returned to college and graduated “Summa Cum Laude” in May 1987 from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management.

Enjoying success in her career, she became a part of the management team at the merged bank, Attleboro Pawtucket Savings Bank.  Linda later joined the Bristol County Savings Bank of Taunton.  With BCSB, Linda established the educational branch located in Attleboro High School.  For fifteen years, Linda mentored students, taught banking skills and connected with the students, leading many young people to choose a career in banking and finance.  This was an especially wonderful time in Linda’s life, she took pleasure in interacting with the students, and appreciated working part-time while she and Len enjoyed New Hampshire, where they became part-time residents in 2004.  Linda retired from banking in 2010 and became a full-time Wolfeboro resident in 2014.

Linda was predeceased by her parents and her younger brother, Massachusetts State Trooper Ronald O. Blais.  She leaves behind her husband of forty years, Leonard P. Pinault, her sister-in-law Diane (Casale) Blais, Nephew Ryan M. Blais, and niece Tiffany L. Blais, and numerous cousins.
