Lucille Fay Holland Davis, 84 of Freedom passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017.

She was born in South Hiram, Maine, the daughter of the late Celia and George Holland on July 4th, 1932.  Lucille was a graduate of Porter High School where she had graduated as Salutatorian in 1950.  She also graduated from Burdet Business College in 1952.  She later worked in Boston and Portland before marrying Merland F Davis of Center Ossipee, NH in 1955, who predeceased her on June 4, 2007.

Lucille liked all sports including basketball in high school and college; she bowled for many years in Kezar Falls, ME and Wolfeboro, NH.  She was a member of the Indian Mound Golf Club where she was Ladies Club Champion twice and got 2 hole-in-ones there.

Lucille and Merland took many trips in their RV, once to Alaska and lots of Bluegrass Festivals and trips to Florida.  They also went to China for their 50th Anniversary.  They had a full and great life.

She is survived by her 3 children and spouses, Walter Davis and his wife Debbie of North Conway, NH; Gloria Yeaton and her husband Mitchell, Freedom, NH and Alan Davis and his wife Saima of Effingham, NH.  She also leaves behind her 8 grandchildren, Andrea Davis, N. Conway; Paul Davis and his wife Kimberly, Meredith, NH; Katie Davis Therrien and her husband Paul, N. Conway, NH; Michael Yeaton and his wife Natasha, Madison, NH; Ryan Yeaton, Cumming, GA; Cassandra Yeaton, Ctr. Ossipee, NH; Elsah Davis and Fiancé Ari Osman, Gilmington, NH; Errol Davis, Porter, ME as well as 9 great grandchildren, Wes, Dillon, Sophie Arya Yeaton; Daniel and Mackenzie Davis; Lillian Davis, Van Davis and Annabelle Davis.

Calling hours will be Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 6-8PM at Lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee, NH.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00am Friday, February 17, 2017 at the First Congregational Church, in Center Ossipee, NH.  Interment will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Freedom, NH in the spring.
