Ossipee, NH

Marjorie Ruth Hayden Brennan, age 91, passed away at Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, NH on February 13, 2017.  She was born on April 7, 1925 in Weymouth Massachusetts, the daughter of George Stanley Hayden and Ruth Chisholm Hayden Estes.  She was a lifelong resident of Weymouth with a brief residence in San Luis Obispo, California and recently living with her daughter in Ossipee, NH.

She is survived by, her daughter Lee Streeter and her husband Dana of Ossipee, NH and her son, Shawn Brennan of San Francisco, CA, 3 grandchildren, Jeremy Lawton and his wife Judy of Merrimack, NH, Joshua Lawton and his wife Luz of Franklin, MI, and Jared Lawton and his partner, Sherin Glidden of Brookfield, NH, and 8 great grandchildren, niece and Nephews. She also leaves behind a sister her sister, Janet McCorrison of Hingham, MA.  She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Gerard F. Brennan and her son, Robert G. Brennan.

Marjorie was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Weymouth, MA and volunteered with their Unity club.  She and her husband belonged to the South Shore Yacht Club and enjoyed summers between their boat and their cottage in Wareham, MA.

Graveside services are planned for April 7, 2017 at Blue Hill Cemetery, in Braintree, MA at 2 p.m.
