Marjorie (Hudson) McGown, passed away quietly on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at her home in Wolfeboro, NH.

Born May 17, 1917 in Worcester, Massachusetts as Marjorie Alice Hudson, she was the daughter of Elsie and J. Clayton Hudson and the devoted wife of 74 years to the late Winthrop H. McGown. 

Marjorie was a graduate of Colby Junior College, shared a passion for golf and travel with her husband and had a talent for furniture refinishing, sewing and knitting.  Always happy to be among family, Marjorie loved to both host and share in family gatherings and outings, leaving a lifetime of memories for those who survive her.   Marjorie leaves behind her two children, as well as 4 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. 

There are no services planned and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
