Melvin F. Diltz, 62 of Tamworth, NH passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017 after a period of failing health.

He was born on December 8, 1954 in Wolfeboro NH,  the son of Melvin and Thelma Diltz and had lived in the Wolfeboro area most of his life.

He attended local schools, and worked for several companies throughout the years.

Melvin was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps serving as a Staff Sergant.

Melvin is survived by his son Matthew Diltz of Tamworth NH, his mother Thelma Diltz of Moultonborough, NH, his brothers Steven Diltz and his wife Jeanie of Meredith NH, Jeff  Diltz, and his wife Lynn of Moultonborough NH, Greg Diltz and his wife Meg of Moultonborough NH, and special friends Laurie Holden of Ashland NH,  and Karen Reppucci of Moultonborough NH.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Interment will be held in the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
