To the Wilkes family, I am truly sorry for your loss.  I work at Johnson's Steak and Seafood in New Durham, and waited on Michael for many years. He was a wonderful man and will be missed.  If he was not my customer, I would still stop and chat with him.  We talked about his acting, lab work and children.  He was always a happy person!!  I will miss seeing him once or twice a week!!

Family and friends,  Our sincere condolences for the loss of a fellow veteran and member of American Legion Post 18 in Wolfeboro.  I saw Mike just before I went south and very happy for that.  He will be missed by us all, but I know he is in a better place.  Rest in Peace Comrade

To Michael's family I am so sorry for your loss. Micheal was a special person who I worked with at Huggins Hospital. He had a great joy for life! He was as happy in the lab as he was on the stage. He has taught me many lessons in regards to life and I will miss his whit and humor as well as his smile. He was truly what one could call a great man who touched many lifes of which his memory will continue in our hearts for many years to come.

I can't believe that he's gone. We were together for more than 11 years, and have been apart for nearly as long, but he was a big presence in nearly a quarter of my life. I am at a loss for words---to speak about the loss to the Village Players, to the hospital, and to the many people whose lives he touched........

The last time I had lunch in the Hospital cafeteria, I joined Michael's table.  He had an interesting tale of the Wolfeboro landscape during his boyhood.

Michael was an integral part of the Street Fair for years.  HE WILL BE MISSED.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of this man who is a father, grandfather, brother, son, and a friend to many.  It has been my pleasure to have been able to be involved with Michael at the Village Players and work side by side with him in many productions whether on stage or off.  He truly was a very talented man in his short life.
My prayers and thoughts are with all that are in mourning due to his death.  He will be missed by many.
