Tamworth, NH

Robert L. “Jack” Delude, 89, of Tamworth, NH passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Memorial Hospital, North Conway, NH.

He was born November 30, 1925 in Nashua, NH the son of the late Edmund and Clorente ( LaFrance) DeLude and had worked as a brick layer in the Nashua area and in Massachusetts.  He had moved to Tamworth in 1965, where he did masonry work in the area and later worked at Chick Packaging for many years, before retiring.   

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was caring, cheerful and witty. Jack was a family man whom enjoyed spending his time with his children and grandchildren. He was always joyful and playfully interacted with his great grandkids.  He took pleasure in tending to his gardens’, apple trees and feeding his birds. He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Columbia, NH with his beloved wife.  He loved the outdoors and took great pleasure in hunting and fishing.

Jack served in the US Air Force during WWII.  He was a Life Member of the V.F.W, Nashua #483

Jack always happily reminisced and shared stories of his time serving our country. He was proud and delighted for this time in his life.

He was always willing to lend a helping hand whether it is his family, his friends or a stranger. All who knew Jack will remember his great smile and kind spirit. He was a generous, loving, helpful person who touched many lives and will be dearly missed.  

He was predeceased by his wife Myrtle (Page) Walker Delude, stepson Richard Walker, Siblings Armand Delude, Arthur Delude, Juliet Delude, Germain Delude and is survived by his stepchildren, Sandra Parker, Tamworth, NH; Edward Walker III, Tamworth, NH; James Walker, Tamworth, NH; Barbara Jackson, Milford, MA; Nancy Zell, Attleboro, MA; Robert Walker, TN; Jack Walker, FL; Steven Walker, Tamworth, NH; several grand and great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings, Theresa Galipeau; Hank Delude and wife, Virginia; and Irene Brouillard and husband Robert, Nashua, NH

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held Monday, November 2, 2015 at 11:00am in the Fowlers Mill Cemetery, Tamworth, NH
