Ross M. Hardman, 85, of Wolfeboro, NH, passed away with his family by his side on Friday, April 8, 2016 at his home.  Ross was born December 16, 1930 in Providence, RI, to the late William and Albina (Ross) Hardman.

Ross helped his family by driving an oil truck to assist with the delivers at the age of 14.  While his passion may not have been for schooling, he did enjoy serving his country, so he chose to leave school early to join the Air Force where he served with great pride.

Ross met the love of his life, Edythe (Foley) Hardman when she graduated high school.  The young couple began their life together in Providence, RI, after a short time together they moved to Brookfield, NH then settling in Wolfeboro, NH.  The two of them would have been married 65 years this June.

Ross taught himself the trade of building construction.  Once he had it mastered, he started his own business which was called Holiday Construction.  Several of his homes that he had built can be seen from Wolfeboro to Intervale.  He was well known and respected by many in the trade.

Ross enjoyed hunting and fishing in the area.  He also enjoyed the warm weather and walks on the beach.  His greatest enjoyment though, was being with his family.  His family meant everything to him.  He would sing to his four children every morning.  He is described best as being a loving husband, father and simply a Fantastic man.

He will greatly be missed by his wife, children, and grandchildren who include, Leslie Bauer, Lynn Hardman, Ross Hardman Jr, Laurie Hardman.  Grandchildren: Jessica Bauer, Aiden Stacy, Kristian Hardman.

Calling hours and burial will be announced at a later time.  Lord Funeral Home of Wolfeboro is assisting the family.
