Russell E. Tupeck, 84 of Union Wharf Road, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Mountain Ridge Center, Franklin, NH.

Russ was a native and lifelong resident of Tuftonboro.  He was born November 11, 1932 the son of the late Stephan and Bernice (Ayers) Tupeck.  He was a 1950 graduate of Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH.

He had worked as the Assistant Manager at Diamond Lumber in Wolfeboro, NH and more recently worked at DiPrizio Lumber Company in Middleton, NH for more than 40 years.

Russ served in the New Hampshire Army National Guard retiring as Sgt. First Class in December of 1992.  He was a member of the American Legion, Harriman Hale Post 18, Wolfeboro, NH and a long-time member of the Tuftonboro Grange.

Russ was a friend of Bill W.

Russ is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Joan (Bunney) Tupeck, his children Stephan C. Tupeck and his wife Stephanie, Canterbury, NH; Russell G. Tupeck and his wife Dana, Lawton, OK; and Lisa G. Raspante and her wife Lisa Pokraka, Wolfeboro, NH.  He also leaves behind 8 grandsons a granddaughter and 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.  He will be greatly missed by his family and dear friends Judy Reynolds and Roland Lemieux.

Calling hours will be Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4-6pm at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH.  A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00pm at the funeral home following the visitation.
