Velma (Bean) Haley, 93, of Tuftonboro, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Genesis, Wolfeboro Bay Care, in Wolfeboro, NH.

She was born December 13, 1922 in Wolfeboro, NH the daughter of the late Ralph and Pern (Sargent) Bean and had lived in Tuftonboro for most of her life.

Velma was a 73 year member of the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, of Wolfeboro.

She was the widow of the late Kenneth Haley who died in 1997 and she is predeceased by a brother Leon “Bud” Bean and a niece Judy Smith.

Velma is survived by a sister Frances Wentworth, Venice, FL as well as her nieces Holly Bean, Sue Ann Bean Taylor, Debbie Bean and Cindy Bean and her nephews Richard Bean and Leon Bean.

There will be no calling hours.  Memorial Services will be held 3:00PM, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, 77 Middleton Road, Wolfeboro, NH  03894.
