Bruce Edward Phillips, 68 years old, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 29, 2024 with his loving family by his side after a time of declining health. He was born on May 3, 1955 in Revere, Massachusetts to the parents of Stephen and Margaret (King) Phillips.
Bruce excelled as a plumber in the seacoast area and worked in the business for over 30 years. Throughout his life he enjoyed his time at the beach where he could relax and take in the sun, sights and sounds. He also had a passion for hiking and walking in the outdoors. Nature gave him a time to relax and recharge. Bruce loved animals and having them around him was important to him.
Bruce was a loving father. His love for his children and grandchildren knew no bounds. Those who knew Bruce would remember his huge and sarcastic personality and most of all would be his contagious laugh. Many considered him their closest friend and knew him to have a big heart. He was a selfless man who lived for his family and always stood firmly in his beliefs. Bruce had a strong love for the Lord Jesus Christ. He strongly believed in our Lord and the only way to heaven and eternal living was through Him.
Bruce is survived by his son, Bruce B. Phillips and his wife Natasha and their children Carter, Alina, Hazel, and Romeo; his daughter, Olivia Amato and her husband David and their children Axel, Ozzy, and Otto and their family dog Ollie. He is also survived by his brother Mark Phillips and his wife Carol; brother William Phillips and his wife Wendy; Brother Donald Phillips and his wife Milagros; as well as many nieces and nephews. Bruce was pre-deceased by his two brothers, Robert Phillips and Steven Phillips.
A celebration of his life may be held on May 12, 2024 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Stratham Hill Park, 270 Portsmouth Avenue, Stratham, New Hampshire. All are welcomed to attend.
