Gloria D. Tasker

Center Tuftonboro, NH 

Gloria D. (Adjutant) Tasker, 80 of Center Tuftonboro, passed away Sunday morning, April 7, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born June 14, 1943 in Wolfeboro, NH the daughter of the late Robert and Hope (Glidden) Adjutant. 

Gloria attended local schools and was a 1961 Graduate of Brewster Academy, Wolfeboro, NH.  She had worked as a Caregiver and also kitchen coordinator for the Wolfeboro Area Childrens Center of Wolfeboro, NH for many years. Her love and compassion for children followed her in life as she was devoted to her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors whether it be working in her garden, watching her birds and other animals or even riding with her husband along the back roads in their jeep. She also had a love of the musician Charlie Daniels and many other country artists over her years.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James P Tasker of Ctr. Tuftonboro, NH. Her daughters Linda Chaloux of Wolfeboro, NH and Tanya Mills and her husband Darold Mills Jr. of Wolfeboro, NH. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Marina Chaloux; James Katwick; Sean Chaloux; Wesley Mills and Mason Mills and her sister Janice Carpenter of Wolfeboro, NH. Gloria was predeceased by her son James Peter Tasker. 

At her request there will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Her Life will be celebrated at a later date.
