Allan E. Dearborn, 83 of South Tamworth, NH passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH.

He was born February 14, 1934 in Laconia, NH, the son of the late Kenneth and Sarah (Davis) Dearborn, and had lived most of his life in South Tamworth.

Allan had been employed as a small engine mechanic for Arthur Mason, Inc., Bennett Sales & Service, Roberts Construction and Richard Murphy Construction Company of Moultonborough for many years. He had also worked as a carpenter for Clifford Davis for 13 years.

He was a 22 year Veteran with the New Hampshire National Guard and the US Army.

He was a member of the Tamworth Outing Club where he served as Treasurer. He was also a member of the Tamworth Finance Committee.

Allan is survived by his wife Janice (Downs) Dearborn, Tamworth, NH his sons Jeffrey Dearborn, Waleska, GA and Randall Dearborn, Haverhill, MA and a granddaughter Caroline Rose Dearborn of Indiana. He was predeceased by a son Richard Dearborn.

There will be a Celebration of Life honoring his memory on Saturday, April 7th from 11:30 to 2:00 at the Corner House Inn in Center Sandwich NH. All are welcome.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Tamworth Community Nurses Association of the Tamworth Rescue Squad.
