Barbara A. Hodge, 70 of Center Ossipee, passed away Wednesday June 14, 2017 in Center Ossipee, NH, where she was living with her niece Rhonda Ryder and her husband Belmont.

She was born February 4, 1947 in Wolfeboro, NH the daughter of the late Harold and Viola (Eldridge) Varney.  Barbara was raised in Center Ossipee before moving to the Lisbon – Littleton, NH area to raise her six children.

Barbara enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.  Barbara’s greatest joy was being with her family especially her grandchildren.

Barbara leaves behind her daughter Dory St. Cyr and her husband Barry of Plymouth, NH; her daughter in law, Laurie Hebert, Tamworth, NH, her son Billy Hebert, Plymouth, NH, her daughter SueAnn Millette, Warren, NH, her daughter Karen Clark, Bartlett, NH and her son Ronald Carr and his wife Jenn, Conway, NH.  She is also survived by her sister Gloria Buswell and her husband Pete of Tuftonboro, NH, her sister Mary McCullough and her husband Jim, Center Ossipee, NH, her grandchildren Trinity St. Cyr, Becky Hebert, Timmy Hebert, Tommy Hebert, Wyatt Hebert, Nyomi Hebert, Joseph Hebert, Julia Hebert, Amber Heath, Quentin Boutin, Sydney Boutin, Emily Acker, Cora Dawe, Erin Carr and Alex Carr and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was predeceased by a son Tracy Hebert of Ctr. Ossipee, her brother Maurice Varney, Barnstead, NH, her brother Ronald Varney, Tamworth, NH, her sister Donna (Varney) Sargent and brother-in- law Richard Sargent of Ctr. Ossipee, NH and her brother Eddie Varney, Caledonia, MN.

Calling hours will be Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 6-8pm at lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee, NH.  Funeral services will be 11:00am on Monday, June 26, 2017 at the Moultonville United Methodist Church, Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee, NH.  Interment will be in the Chickville Cemetery, Center Ossipee, NH.
