Barry Freedman, 67, died Sunday August 19th in Freedom NH.
He leaves his wife of 36 years, Christine Chase and his daughter Julie Chase, his siblings Karen Jimmerson, Jay and his wife Lynn, Beth and her husband Reujen Rosen, Sharon and her husband Myles Akabas, Jayne and her husband Bill Quinn, Judy Fask, and Barbara and her husband Bruce Yap, and many nieces and nephews.
Barry was born in Worcester, son of the late Eli and Rebecca Freedman.
He graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and the University of Massachusetts.
Barry had been involved in sales starting with Olympic Sporting and Trophy Co. He developed his own company, Northstar Recognition, and later worked at Rotmans and Al-Lynn Sales.
He was interested in sports his whole life: baseball, basketball, golf, racquetball, squash, pickle ball, skiing, and kayaking. Barry loved being with people, being active, and being outdoors. His laughter will be sorely missed.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Maxwell Silverman’s Banquet and Conference Center at Union Station, Worcester, MA.
