Benjamin Earl Baldwin, 6 years old, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 from injuries sustained in an accident.
Benjamin was born July 15, 2011 in Dover, NH the son of Richard E. and Katie (O’Blenes) Baldwin. Ben grew up at his home on Lake Wentworth, Wolfeboro, NH, with his sisters Jenny and Alissa, many cousins, numerous school and sports friends, and loving animal friends.
Ben was in first grade at Carpenter Elementary School. Ben was full of energy and loved sports. In winter months, Ben’s first love was playing hockey. Ben just finished up his season at Back Bay as a Mite. He also loved skiing with all his friends at Abenaki and skating on the lake. Ben was so excited to be playing baseball for the Good Hawks Rookie Team this year. During summer months, Ben was busy biking, swimming, boating and riding his four -wheeler. Ben loved to be outside. His favorite place to spend time in the summer was at the family camp on Cate Island.
He was a loving son and brother with a magical smile. Ben had a way of making the people around him feel good. He had so much love in his heart for his family and friends.
Benjamin leaves behind his loving parents Richard & Katie Baldwin, his sisters Jennifer Baldwin, age 11, and Alissa Baldwin, age 18, all of Wolfeboro, NH. He also leaves his loving grandparents Robert Sr. and Melanie O’Blenes, Ossipee, NH; his aunts Beth Baldwin, Lexington, MA, and Emily O’Blenes, Ossipee, NH; his uncles Robert Jr. and wife Jessi O’Blenes, Ossipee, NH, and Andrew and wife Cassie O’Blenes, Effingham, NH.
Calling hours for Ben will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5-8pm at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 11, 2018 at 5:30pm at the First Congregational Church, UCC, South Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH with Reverend Gina Finocchiaro.
