God saw him getting tired a cure was not to be.
He wrapped in his loving arms and whispered come with me.
He suffered much in silence, his spirit did not bend.
He faced his pain with courage, until the very end.
He tried so hard to stay with us, but his fight was not in vain.
God took him to his loving home and freed him from his pain.

Brownie Junior Jones 81 of Moultonborough NH, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Dill City, Oklahoma born to Gail and Leland Jones.

Brownie enlisted in the United States Navy and proudly served his country for 10 years.  He then pursued a career as the Chief Tax Assessor for 17 years in Uvalde Texas. They later moved to Moultonborough, NH and worked as the Town Tax Assessor of Moultonborough for 10 years and retired to enjoy family, friends and hobbies.
He is survived by his wife Deborah and three children, Kimberlee and her husband Gary and granddaughter Lia of Sterling, Mass.; Matthew and his wife Frankie, grandson Andrew and wife Myriah, four great grandchildren Kaleigh, Karsen, Charlee Mae and BoDean of Apache Oklahoma; Kirsten and her husband Jason and grand dog Braydon of Moultonborough, NH.

He is preceded in death by his son Mark Travis and parents Leland and Gail Jones.

Memorial services were held at Lord Funeral Home, Wolfeboro, NH on Saturday, October 21. 2017.
