Caroline A. Bishop

Caroline A Bishop, 86, of Center Ossipee, NH passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Mountain View Community, Ossipee, NH with her family by her side.  She was born February 2, 1933 in Manchester, NH the daughter of the late Arthur P and Gladys (Clark) Charter.

Caroline had lived in Candia, NH for most of her life and she worked as an Aide at The Inn at Deerfield, the Eliot Hospital, Manchester, NH.  She also worked for several shoe manufacturing companies in the Manchester area and also had worked in Housekeeping at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, NH.

Caroline had moved to Center Ossipee, NH in 2005.

She was a member of the New Hampshire Inter-Tribal Native American Council and a former member of the East Candia Grange.

She was predeceased by her husband Samuel Bishop Sr.

Caroline leaves behind her children Sandra Chase, Center Ossipee, NH; Samuel Bishop Jr., Utah and Jennifer Grenier, Manchester, NH, as well as seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; a brother Arthur Charter Jr, Georgia and was predeceased by Walter Charter,  Ruth Dubois, and Mary Johnson.

There will be no calling hours.  A Graveside burial will be later in the spring at the New Hampshire Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
