Charles E. White, 66, of Center Ossipee, NH passed away Thursday May 31, 2018 at Huggins Hospital, Wolfeboro, NH.
He was born February 21, 1952 in Wolfeboro, NH, the son of the late Ervin and Mildred (Smart) White.
He was a lifelong resident of Center Ossipee and attended Ossipee Central School. He worked as a carpenter for several years and loved to restore old buildings. Charlie also worked for many years at Varney and Sons in Wolfeboro as a cabinet maker and at Coastal Metal in Massachusetts as a foreman for the anodizing company.
Charlie was known as “Uncle Cha Cha” to his family and friends who he loved and cherished.
He is survived by his wife Sheryl (Bliss) White of Center Ossipee, NH; his daughter Jennifer, and her husband, Paul Butman of Canaan, NH; his son, Carl White of Center Ossipee, NH and grandchildren Justin, Austin and Amber. Other surviving family members include his brother Ervin White, Jr, and his wife Sharon, of Center Ossipee, NH; his Brother John White, and his wife Joanne, of Center Ossipee, NH; his sister Doris, and her husband, Alan Meserve of Center Ossipee, NH; his sister Helen, and her husband Douglas Day of Ctr. Ossipee, NH; his sister Tammy and Dave Huckins of Center Ossipee, NH; Lucinda White of Center Ossipee, NH and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Luke Meredith.
At his request there are no calling hours or services scheduled. A Celebration of Charlie’s life and cookout will be held July 14th 2018 at the Huckins residence at 69 Ossipee Mtn. Road, Ctr. Ossipee, NH starting at 11:30 am.
