Doris Ruth (Baker) Dewey

Doris R. Dewey, 92, passed away on August 21, 2018 after a long illness.

Doris was born September 19, 1925 in Quincy, MA and attended local schools and graduated from Quincy High School. Dorsi later married her husband, George Dewey and moved to Framingham, MA, where they lived for many years. Following retirement, she and her husband lived in Effingham, NH and wintered in Bradenton, FL.

Following the death of her husband in 2001 she moved to Center Ossipee where she lived for 11 years.

Doris will be remembered for loving her friends and being a great kidder.

Doris is survived by her daughter, Sandra Knowlton and her husband Rick of Center Ossipee, NH and nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held for Doris at 1:00pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Freedom, NH on Monday August 27th, 2018 with Pastor Murray Nickerson officiating.
