Frank Pierson Drew Jr., 91, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, September 21, 2017 after a brief illness.

Frank was born the son of the late Frank P Drew Sr. and Bessie (Morrison) Drew on September 15, 1926 in Albany, NH, in a logging camp at the foot of Mt. Chocorua. He was raised in Denmark, Maine but later moved to Tamworth, NH where he spent the remainder of his life.

Frank worked for the Boston & Maine Railroad until he became employed by the State of New Hampshire, Department of Transportation.  He retired from his job after 31 years of service.

Frank was an avid fisherman and enjoyed rabbit hunting.  He also mastered the art of puttering.  Frank was able to take any chore that most of us would be mundane and turn it into a hobby.  From moving fields to splitting wood, tending his garden to shoveling snow, Frank always seemed to perform any task with a smile on his face and a song in his heart.  Frank was the type of man that has never met a stranger.  People loved to talk to him.

He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carolyn Drew, Tamworth, NH; his daughter Cammy Fauteux and her husband Robert, Mechanicsville, VA, and their children Ashley and Alex; his son  Frank Drew and his wife Tammy, Tamworth, NH, and their children Daniel Levesque, Frankie Drew, Brittany Drew, Courtney O’ Keefe, Kyle O’Keefe, Liam O’ Keefe, Willow O’ Keefe and Seamas O’ Keefe; his son Fred Drew and his wife Jill, Tamworth, NH, and their children Kristol Drew, Cody Drew, Robert Lavoie and Andrew Lavoie.  He is also survived by his sister Betty Pennell, South Hadley Falls, MA, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by three brothers Austin Drew, Milton, NH; Arthur Drew, Tamworth, NH; Wendell Drew, Tamworth, NH and a sister Alfreda Eldridge, Tamworth, NH.

There will be no calling hours.  Graveside services will be held 12:00pm on Sunday, October 1, 2017, in the Ordination Rock Cemetery, Tamworth, NH.
