Glenn Brown Obituary

Rochester NH – Glenn E Brown, 70, of Rochester, N.H, died Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at his home peacefully.

Glenn was born on September 14, 1949, in Haverhill, MA.  He grew up in Plaistow, NH and was a graduate of Timberlane Regional HS Class of 1968.  He has resided in Rochester, NH for the last 23 years.

Glenn did accounting work for several businesses before entering the floral industry. For 35 years Glenn worked with his sister and brother-in-law at Roderick Wholesale Florist, Kingston, NH. He enjoyed interacting with hundreds of customers throughout the industry and missed them most of all after the business closed in 2007.  The last ten years, illness has kept Glenn from his passions of softball and golf.  He enjoyed watching Boston sports teams especially the Bruins, Red Sox and Patriots.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth S. (Veroneau) and Seneca (Red) F. Brown.

Left to cherish his memory are Sherideth Hathcock-Brown of Rochester, NH, his beloved wife of 31 years; daughter Gretchen Sacchetti and her husband Scott of Atkinson, NH; daughter Gennifer Silva of Plaistow, NH; sister Betsy Roderick and her husband Stephen of Atkinson, NH; brother Clinton and his wife Susanna of Alton, NH; brother Cal and his wife Anita of Fountain Inn, SC; mother-in-law Carolyn Hathcock ; and brother-in-law Jamie Hathcock of Wolfeboro, NH; Glenn cherished his grandchildren Marissa and Kendall Sacchetti and Gianluca Silva; along with numerous cherished nieces and nephews.

Glenn wished to have no services following his passing and will be cremated.  He requested his family to have a Celebration of Life Gathering which will be planned for Summer, 2020.
