Joan Marie Hammond, 96, of Wolfeboro, NH passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Wolfeboro Bay Care Center, Wolfeboro, NH.

Joan was born October 18, 1921 in NY, NY the daughter of the late Frank and Marion Hammond. She was raised in New York and worked for the U.S. Public Health Services for many years.

She is survived by her brother Frank W. Hammond Jr. and his wife Mary, of Wolfeboro, NH several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church, Alton, NH.  Burial will be in New York.
