Margaret “Peg” (Costa) Cade, 92, of Freedom Village, NH passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Mountain View Community, Ossipee, NH.
Peg was born February 2, 1926 in Orange, NJ the daughter of the late Samuel and Mae Costa. She graduated from Orange High School, Orange, NJ, studying Mechanical Drawing.
At the time of her marriage to her husband, Royal W. Cade, Jr., they had lived in New Jersey. In 1985 she had moved to Freedom, NH where she was known as “Gram”. While living in Freedom she volunteered at Agape for nearly two decades. She was a member of the family support council at the Center Of Hope, North Conway, NH.. She also worked as Assistant Vice President at the Franklin State Bank in NJ.
Peg had a strong faith and was a very active member at St. Andrews in the Valley, Episcopal Church, Tamworth, NH.
She is survived by her daughter Mary Ellen Cade, Freedom, NH; her grandchildren Kirsten Williams of St. Johns, FL; Beth Anne Williams of Freedom, NH; Jeremiah Paul of Gilford, NH and her great grandchildren Veronica Williams and Caleb Joyner. Margaret was predeceased by her son Royal William Cade, III, a brother, John Costa, and her husband Royal William Cade, Jr.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00pm at St. Andrews in the Valley Church, Tamworth, NH.
