Mark E. Wright

May 13, 1955 ~ September 24, 2018 (age 63)

Mark E Wright of Center Ossipee, NH died peacefully Monday, September 24th 2018 in his home at the age of 63. Mark was born in Lynn, MA May 13, 1955, to the late Arthur and Helen Wright. He was the beloved husband of Jane (Moffett) Wright. He was the most amazing father of two daughters Caitlin Wright and Carrie (Wright) Teixeira and her late husband Paul Teixeira. He was a loving Papa to his grandsons Gavin Paul Teixeira and Ronan Mark Teixeira along with his many four legged grandchildren. He leaves his niece Karin Moffett who was more like a daughter. Mark also leaves behind his brother Scott F Wright of Reading, MA and his wife Patti Wright. Mark will also be missed by his nieces and nephews.

Mark enjoyed living his little piece of paradise he called home. It was his pride and joy, and if anyone was willing to listen, he would tell them all about Terrace Pines Campground.  He and his wife Jane owned and managed Terrace Pines as the 2nd generation starting in the early 80’s.  He raised his two daughters there and taught them everything there was to know about life and owning a campground.  Mark passed on his incredible work ethic to both his girls.  Mark is very well respected and loved by so many who have visited Terrace Pines. The campground was a part of who he was, and his hope was that it will stay in the family for years to come.

Along with owning a campground, Mark was very involved in all aspects of the camping industry. Over the years he has sat on various boards of associations always promoting for the greater good of the industry and State of NH.  Mark enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, boating on the lake and enjoying a cold one by the fire.  In the off season Mark loved to travel, and you would often find him puttering in his garage on some project.

Mark was a special man and anyone who ever met him has a story to tell. He just had a way with people. He will be greatly missed by all.
