Welcome to the memorial page for

Michael E Ouellette

June 24, 2013
Wolfeboro
Michael E. Ouellette, 61, of Wolfeboro died suddenly at home on Monday 6/24/13.  He was the son of the late Edward G. and Yvette C. Ouellette.
Those who knew Mike well knew his straight forward no-nonsense way.  He was a kindhearted and gentle man with a very dry sense of humor.  His quick wit and love of words kept his family and friends laughing.
Mike’s family meant the world to him.  He and his wife Judi (Fernald) were married 42 years.  One of the greatest blessings in his life was the relationship he had with his son Chris.  He and his wife Andrea, delighted Mike with the birth of a grandson, Aidan, 9 years ago.  He always felt badly for grandparents who lived away from their grandchildren.   Wednesdays were family night and were rarely missed since Aidan’s birth.
Teaching Aidan to fish was a highlight of Mike’s life, as was going to camp with him. (Parents were invited to camp sometimes, too!!)  Mike’s love of nature was something he gave to his son and his grandson and to those who cared to listen and observe.  He and Judi loved to eagle and osprey watch in the north country where they grew up.  Sitting quietly and being present in the moment were the best.
Family members include his brother, George Ouellette and wife Gaynor of Manchester, sister-in-law Ruth Caggige and husband Bob of St. Albans VT and brother-in-law Dennis Fernald and wife Beth of Rutland VT as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends can gather at the family home on Sunday, June 30th at 1pm to share stories and memories
Donations can be made to CASA of NH, PO Box 1327, Manchester NH  03105
