Paul David Jay - 11/08/1960 – 7/25/19    

He was born in Scottsbluff, NE on November 8,1960 and passed away at home in West Ossipee, NH on Thursday, July 25, 2019 after a long illness. Paul attended Trinity Bible College, and traveled with the Troubadours in active ministry. He loved music; especially singing with his family and at Christmas concerts.

Paul married best friend and sweetheart, Paula D. Oliver on July 30, 1983, and they along with their family, moved to New England in 1986. Paul currently resides in West Ossipee NH. Paul served the Town and community in many capacities, such as; a Lieutenant in the Center Ossipee Fire Department, Captain of the Ossipee Rescue Squad as an EMT, and a West Ossipee Fire Commissioner.

Paul also worked at Northern Tire and GCR Trucking and Tires. He is also a member of Kezar Falls Assembly of God. Paul was loving, helpful, and compassionate, the kind of man who would give you the shirt off his back. Paul battled many illnesses, before His Lord took Him home, and he will be missed!

Paul leaves behind his loving wife Paula D. Jay, 4 children: son Michael P. Jay and daughter-in-law Megan Wilcox, and their 6 children: Hayden, Conner, Ryley, Keegan, Tristan, and Katlyn; daughter Michelle L. Button and husband Steven, and their 2 children Talia and Arabelle; daughter Faith P. Jay; and daughter Laura R. Jay. He also leaves behind a brother Kevin Jay and wife Lola and their family of Minatare, NE; and a sister Sonja Shryer and husband Clive and their family of Midlothian, TX.

Calling hours will be held from 5-8PM on Friday, August 2, 2019 at Lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Center Ossipee, NH.  A Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 10:00am at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Chickville Cemetery, Center Ossipee, NH.
