Peter Edward Maher died June 2, 2015 at Bellamy Fields Assisted Living Facility in Dover, New Hampshire from complications of vascular dementia.  He was born in North Tonawanda, New York in 1935, son of Francis and Irene Maher. Peter graduated from the University of Buffalo with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  He spent two years in the United States Army, stationed in Germany.  He worked for the Wurlitzer Company in North Tonawanda, New York and the Kimball International Company in Jasper, Indiana.

Peter is survived by his wife of 55 years Nancy (Clow) Maher of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire; daughter Jane and husband Louis Penny of Hudson, Ohio; son David and wife Deborah (Tobin) of Londonderry, New Hampshire; son Stephen and wife Maryann (Perez) of Ellicott City, Maryland; grandchildren David, Stephen, and Katie of Hudson, Ohio, Kevin, Cullen and Connor of Londonderry, New Hampshire, Ryan and Eric of Ellicott City, Maryland; sister Katherine (Maher) and Fred Leverenz of Indian Trail, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.

Peter is predeceased by sister Ann (Maher) and Alan Overton of Essex Junction, Vermont.
