East Wakefield, NH
Richard Stockton of Wakefield NH went home to be with the Lord on November 15, 2019. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on June 30, 1949 to Fred and Ruth Stockton.
Cars were his passion and he was a great mechanic helping anyone with a need just so he could get his fingers under the hood of a car. He loved life and was an avid collector of toys both old and new. He was generous in sharing his collection with those who loved them as much as he did, especially the little ones. He was a lover of music and reading his bible. He cherished his family and was a proud father of his three boys.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Fred and Ruth Stockton and his older sister Virginia Bye.
He will lovingly be remembered by those he has left behind. His wife of nearly 50 years, Cindy Stockton. His sons, Bill Stockton and his wife Becky, Andrew Stockton and his wife Rianna and Daniel Stockton whose entrance into the world changed the way he viewed fatherhood. His two sisters, Carol Willson and her husband Charlie and Kathleen Hooper. Several grandchildren whom he adored, Branden, Asa, Noah, Aliya, Alexa, Skyleigh and Devin as well as his step grandchildren Katelyn, Alyssa, Tyler, Natilly and Blayke Perkins and Randy Comeau, and a great-grandaughter, Aktavia. He loved when his grandchildren would visit and never missed an opportunity to brag about them to everyone. Sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins all were special to him and he would be the first to help if a need arose.
Richard was a giant of a man who made friends wherever he went and those friends became a lifetime fixture. He will be missed by so many too numerous to mention here.
Visiting hours will be Saturday November 30, 2019 at Lord Funeral Home in Wolfeboro from 6-8 pm. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Wolfeboro Bible Church at 3:00pm.
