Laconia, NH

Stephen Marshall Glencross, 64, of Laconia, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday April 3, 2019 at Lakes Region General Hospital in Laconia due to respiratory complications as well as continued fight with Colon Cancer from 2015.

Stephen was born in Malden, Mass on April 5, 1954.  He was the son of John and Alma Glencross of Everett, Mass.  Two sisters; Diane Katherine and Brother Jackie and their families.  Wonderful Niece Tiffany he was her Unckie.  Stephen had many friends going through school at Everett Vocational, playing hockey and hanging out with his best friend Frank, from across the street.  They had the greatest time then and now.

He spent many summers in Ipswich, Mass. digging clams and fishing.  Throughout the years Stephen was a member of several volunteer fire departments.  Prior to his diagnosis of cancer he was an active member of the Ossipee Valley Mutual Aide.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He caught many deer and fish and his first moose in 2007 with his son Bobby.

Stephen is survived by his wife Deb and their combined families of seven children; Stephen Jr.; Bobby, Mikey, Kelly, and Cassie Glencross, Sean Calnan and Callie Williams.  With all those kids they had a combination of 17 grandchildren and a great grandchild due this fall.

A Celebration of Stephen’s life will take place 1:00pm on Sunday April 14, 2019 at his daughters home at 46 Rocky Lane, Tamworth, NH.

Donations in his memory at Stephen’s request should be made to your local Fire Department or the Anderson Ganong Cancer Center at Lakes Region General Hospital, Laconia, NH.
