Susan Patricia LeGendre, 69, of Center Ossipee, NH, passed away Saturday November 17, 2018 at her home with her family by her side, following a brief illness.

Susan was born March 17, 1949 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Kenneth and Loretta (Glaubitz) Christiansen.  She was a graduate of Schurz High School in Chicago.  Following high school, she worked for the Social Security Administration for several years.

In 1970 she married her husband Dennis E. LeGendre and moved to Center Ossipee, NH where they lived happily since 1973.

While living in Center Ossipee, Susan worked for Irving Oil Company as a bookkeeper and accountant for many years and for the past 18 years she has worked for White Mountain Audio Visual in Center Ossipee, NH.  She was an active member of the Board for the Carol Duchesne Scholarship Fund.

Susan had a deep love for her husband, family, friends, their boat, and slot machines.  She and Dennis also took many cruises together.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Dennis E. Legendre, Center Ossipee, NH, two sons, Kenneth LeGendre and his wife Melissa of Providence, RI and Jeffrey LeGendre and his wife Kendra of Center Ossipee.  She also leaves behind a loving sister Carol Christiansen, West Ossipee, NH, many nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was predeceased by two dear aunts Charlotte Preo and Dorothy Wolff.

Calling hours will be Friday, November 23, 2018 from 6-8pm at Lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Ctr. Ossipee, NH.  A Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 11:00am at the Moultonville Methodist Church, Moultonville Road, Ctr. Ossipee, NH.
