Viola Abbott Obituary
Viola M Abbott, 82 of Center Ossipee, NH passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at Genesis, Wolfeboro Bay Facility following a long period of failing health.
She was born in Meredith, NH the daughter of the late Freeman and Sarah (Martel) Abbott. Vi has joined her four siblings, brothers Herbert and Francis Abbott, sisters Louise Schulte and Elizabeth Libby.
Vi lived and worked in Freedom most of her life, retiring from Margie’s Restaurant when it closed. She then moved to Center Ossipee. Vi lived and enjoyed a quiet and simple life working the family farm, playing Bingo, Beechridge Race Track with her love Gene Doe and luncheon with friends at Rosies Restaurant.
Surviving are seven nieces and four nephews, along with many great nieces and great nephews. Beside her parents and siblings, Vi is predeceased by her love Gene Doe, four nieces, two nephews, two sisters-in-law, Geneva Abbott and Charlotte Abbott and her two brothers-in-law, Lawrence Libby and Joseph Schulte.
There will be a graveside service on Oct. 13th @ 10:30 at the Lakeview Cemetery, Freedom NH.
