Weldon E. Dingwell, 87 of Wolfeboro, NH passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at Mountain View Community, Ossipee, NH.

He was born July 26, 1929 in Somerville, MA and was the son to the late Edward and Florence (Mobbs) Dingwell and had graduated from Stoneham High School.  He later received his BA in Business from Northeastern University.

Weldon had worked as a business and marketing consultant for Exxon for over 30 years.  Upon his retirement from Exxon, he began working for H&R Block as an instructor and accountant for the next 25 years.  He had lived in Chelmsford, MA for several years before moving to Wolfeboro, NH in 1999.  While making his home in Wolfeboro, Weldon worked part time for the Kingswood Golf Club and served many years as a volunteer at Huggins Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years Ann Braun Dingwell, Wolfeboro, NH, his children Lorinda Dingwell, Tyngsboro, MA; Andrea Dingwell Tenaglia and her husband Mario, Newton, MA; Robert Dingwell, Tyngsboro, MA, and his step-children Deborah Braun Peterson and her husband Rev. Daniel, Lake Elmo, MN; David Braun and his wife Michelle, Tuftonboro, NH and Judith Braun Colcord and her husband Peter, Wolfeboro, NH, three grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren, and a nephew.  He was predeceased by a sister Audrey Ballway.

There will be no calling hours.  Memorial Services will be held 3:30PM, Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the First Christian Church, North Main Street, Wolfeboro, NH.  Interment will be in the Lakeview Cemetery, Wolfeboro, NH.Donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson’s Research Fund.
