Albert Henry Dubuc, a longtime resident of Wolfeboro, NH passed away on Monday January 23, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born on June 9, 1936, one of six children to the late Ernest and Eva (Cote) Dubuc in Pawtucket, RI.
He attended and graduated from the Vocational High School in Pawtucket R.I in 1954. Then enlisting in the Army National Guard where he served weekends in New York building bridges. During the week he worked for a company in Rhode Island making church pews for several years. This is where his passion for construction began.
In the early 60’s he met a young lady, Margaret L. (Dowden) White. The two married and moved to Pawtucket RI. While living in Rhode Island, Al would travel to New Hampshire to work for Ross Hardman, constructing homes in the Intervale area.
Deciding to move to New Hampshire, in the mid-60, he and his family moved to Wolfeboro. There raising a family, he also started his own construction business. He truly enjoyed building, plumbing and wiring. His workmanship can be seen all over the area.
Al was pre-deceased by his loving wife, Margaret (Dowden) Dubuc in 2007, step sons William F. White ( 2010) and Robert H. White ( 2002 ). He is survived by his daughter, Hollie (White) Smith and her husband David of Wolfeboro, several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A spring memorial graveside service will be announced at a later time.
