Bryan Sindorf, 66, passed away on April 5, 2025, in his home in Wolfeboro, NH. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Andrea, son Nicholas, daughter Sophea, daughter-in-law Kendall, brother-in-law Steve and cherished lifelong friends. Bryan was a mountain of a man. A stoic Dutchman to his toes (the shoes were Converse, always) Bryan embodied the virtues always asked of but seldom realized in a husband, father and friend: loving, honorable, fair, steadfast, beyond generous, funny in his very own way, an inspiration and hero forever to his children who he proudly championed, protected and provided for - all of this and the strength and stubbornness to hand-dig three basements.
He was a remarkable man, what is meant by a “good man.” He lived life on his own terms and at the end of his life he battled illness with grace, humor, courage and never, never any complaint. Known as Blinky to his friends, he was buoyed throughout life by their loving, caring attention, in constant contact with them even into his final hours. And there was his love of music (Dylan, a lot, toward the end) and passion for sports, freely given to the Celtics and somewhat grudgingly to the post-Brady Patriots.
Friends and family came first, but Bryan had an insistent and analytical mind, that led him to finance and a career in data mining. He was disciplined and worked from home, eventually developing his own business, engineering spreadsheets that achieved near legendary status in the field, coveted by the competition. Like the star athlete he was, he had mad skills.
He will be deeply, deeply, mourned. A celebration of his life is planned for the summer.
