Carissa Moran Obituary

Carissa Marjorie Moran (Croft), born September 25, 1983, in Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away March 15, 2025. A beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, Carissa was a caring and lovable woman. Devoted to her family, her religion, and those around her, she had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. She graduated from Kennett High School in North Conway, New Hampshire.

Carissa was predeceased by her brother, Jeffrey Croft of Tamworth, New Hampshire. She is survived by her former husband, Eric Moran of Ossipee, New Hampshire, and their children, Aidan Mikel Frost of Ossipee, and Kayley Jane Frost of Tamworth. Her grandson, Ryland Parker, resides in Tamworth. Her devoted family includes her mother, Mary A. Tice (Hederson), stepfather William S. Tice of Tamworth, and biological father, Brian S. Croft Senior of Lynn, Massachusetts. Her siblings are Brian S. Junior and wife Christie Croft of Neosho, Missouri, and Jami M. Buell (Griffin) and husband Scott of North Conway, New Hampshire. Carissa also leaves behind nieces Annabelle Longo of Tamworth, and Adelyn and Evelyn Croft of Neosho, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Carissa was devoted to her church and enjoyed singing her favorite Christian songs. She achieved many certificates and awards for her work supporting people through addiction. She worked for Head Rest Suicide Prevention Hotline, where supporting others with addiction was extremely important to her. Having suffered from addiction herself, her journey to sobriety inspired her to help others. Carissa worked for Allstate Insurance Company in Conway, New Hampshire, and had a deep love for animals. Her hobbies included rock climbing, camping, preparing delicious foods, and attending country music concerts. Carissa will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at the Wonalancet Cemetery in Wonalancet, New Hampshire, on Monday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will follow at her family home in Tamworth. In lieu of traditional mourning attire, attendees are requested to wear bright colors reflecting Carissa’s vibrant spirit. The celebration of life get-together will be an informal potluck. Services will be provided by Lord Funeral Home, of Center Ossipee, New Hampshire.
