Charles Bojus Jr. a well known and well-loved member of the Freedom community passed away peacefully at home on October 7, 2023 after fighting cancer for 14 years.


Charlie was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1944 and later moved to Connecticut where he met and married Patricia Huntley. They moved to Freedom, New Hampshire where they built their home together.


Charlie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia Bojus. He was the proud step father of Craig, Stacey and Christopher. Charlie also had 6 grandchildren and one great grandchild.


Charlie was a master mechanic at Hoffman Porsche Audi in Hartford Connecticut for 25 years. He opened Charlie’s Shop and loved working on all makes and models. Charlie could fix anything from cars and trucks to snow blowers and lawn mowers. He loved his home, woodworking, canoeing, dogs, cats and Billy the burro. He served as chairman of the Trustee Comm. for the First Christian Church of Freedom for many years.


Service will be held at the First Christian Church of Freedom on October 19th at 2pm. There will be a reception to follow at the Town Hall.


Donations can be made to the Trustee Fund at the Church.
