Tamworth, NH 

Charmein J Eldridge (Twombly) of Tamworth, NH, passed away peacefully on Thursday October 13, 2022. She was born December 13th, 1950 to the late James and Sylvia Twombly.

She was raised in Madison and attended local schools.

As a teenager she worked at her family business Twombly’s Dairy Treat in Ossipee, NH. After graduation she attended Cosmetology school, where she made many life-long friends.

She later opened her own beauty salon, known as CJ’S in Center Ossipee, NH. She later worked for Carroll County Health and Homecare as an LNA for 20 years. Charmein enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Hurd and grandson Brandon Hurd of Tamworth, NH.

Calling hours will be Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 5-7PM at Lord Funeral Home, 50 Moultonville Road, Ctr. Ossipee, NH.  Burial will be in Gilman Cemetery, Madison, NH at a later date.

I lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
