Cheryl Ann Carleton passed peacefully on the morning of December 17, 2024, at Taylor Back Bay. She is survived by, son Michael Carleton and wife Sandra, daughter Lisa Carleton Arion and husband Michael; grandchildren Cherilynn Arion, Alex and Nichole Matarazzo; brother David Joubert and wife Mary, sister Deborah Gordon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cheryl was born on November 18, 1945, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Attended Silver Lake high school in Kingston, MA, graduating in 1963. Marrying her high school sweetheart Robert Carleton on August 21, 1966, and moving to New Hampshire, and became well loved by all who met her.
Cheryl had a zest for life and a passion to live life to the fullest. She loved Lake Life and was surrounded by family and many friends.
She enjoyed hosting family events, taking her children to the ocean in her Pontiac GTO, and meeting new people.
Cheryl and her Granddaughter Cherilynn shared a passion for horses. “Grammie” and Cher spent countless hours together at the barn and attending competitions throughout New England, winning many ribbons and trophies. She loved every second of it. Her favorite thing was giving each horse a peppermint.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
