Cynthia West Granahan

Cynthia (West) Granahan 80, of Center Ossipee passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness, at the Mineral Springs Nursing Home on Saturday, July 3, 2021. with her devoted Husband Henry Granahan by her side.

Cynthia and Henry were married for fifty eight years. She leaves behind her devoted husband Henry, her two sons Robert of Rochester, NH. and Joseph of Peabody, MA. as well as a niece, Cheryl Dione of Billerica, MA. Cynthia was predeceased by both of her parents, Hazel (Provost) West and Kenneth R. West and a brother Kenneth West Jr.

Cynthia worked most recently for Ossipee Concerned Citizen's in Center Ossipee. She was a Supervisor of the Checklist for the Town of Ossipee, for six years. She worked at Valu Land Supermarket in Center Ossipee, where she worked in the delicatessen and baking departments. When Cynthia and Henry lived in Massachusetts, She worked as a cashier for K-mart, She also worked at Kemper Insurance.

A member of the Porter Grange #569 Porter, ME. A dedicated member of First Christian Church in Freedom, NH. She served as a deaconess from 2020 until the present, and volunteered her services for a number of church organizations and events. She was an asset to her church and a loyal friend to one and all. Always with a positive attitude, engaging wit and ready smile. Together with her genuine concern for the welfare of other., Cynthia (Cindy), will be deeply missed by her family and many friends, from her church and community.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church 12 Elm Street Freedom, NH.
