David H. Freeman

David H. Freeman, 57, of Ossipee, passed away June 7, 2023, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dave was born June 30, 1965, in Dover, NH where he grew up and lived most of his life. Dave became a house painter and moved to Wolfeboro in 1997, where he continued his career for 20 years. He later moved to Ossipee, left painting, and became a home care provider in 2018 for his close and dear friend Alan Schott.

Dave was an active man who was deeply involved in the outdoors. If he wasn’t working, he would have been hunting, fishing, ice fishing, and camping with his lifelong friend Greg Forge.

Dave was a great man and a loving father. His family and friends will forever remember him as a caring, funny, carefree, genuine person.

Dave is survived by his daughter Skye Freeman; his sister Audrey Dube and her husband, Robert; his brother Harold Freeman Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dave is predeceased by his parents Harold R. Freeman Sr., and Maxine “Mickey” Freeman, and his brother James W. Freeman.

A Celebration of life will be held at The Milton Moose Lodge (288 White Mountain Hwy, Milton, NH) on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1pm-5pm.
