Donald D. Dempster

Donald D. Dempster, 83, of Wolfeboro, NH passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at his home in Wolfeboro. He was born on October 10, 1940, in Columbia, South Carolina. He graduated from Dentsville High School in Columbia, South Carolina and attended Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire. Donald worked for R & D at Nashua Corp, and Voice of America in Thailand.

He served in the U.S. Navy for 30 years, including a tour on the USS Kitty Hawk in Vietnam. His early education was in Japan and Germany. Donald enjoyed a life of flying, sailing and mopeding with his family and many friends.

Donald was predeceased by his father Alvin F. Dempster, his mother Jessiman Clarkson Dempster, his sister Doreen Dempster, his special aunt and uncle Irene and Claude Kendal.

Donald is survived by his wife of 60 years Jerri Dempster, of Wolfeboro, NH, his son Kevin Dempster and wife Anne of Arizona, son Kirk Dempster of Arizona, grandson Nick Dempster of Manchester, NH, niece Kimberly Lampron of Webster, NH, nephews David and Donald Clarkson of NC.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on July 2, 2024 at 11:00 am at the First Christian Church at 83 North Main Street Wolfeboro, NH. There will be a reception to follow at the church.

There will be a graveside service at 3:00 pm at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery at 110 Daniel Webster Highway Boscawen, NH.
