Donald Howe, 76, passed away Wednesday, April 27th, 2022 in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire with family by his side. Born in Wilmington, Massachusetts by his late parents Martha (Field) and Chester Howe. He married his high school sweetheart Lynda Cailler and together they opened their doors to many foster children and anyone else that needed help, leaving behind a legacy of generosity. Upon her passing in 2005 after 40 years of marriage, he remarried to beloved lifetime friend Susan (Nelson) Howe. They were married for a wonderful 16 years, celebrating every moment together. He was known for his love of flowers and his love for his friends and family. He worked in Stop&Shop and in the floral industry for over 50 years. He also leaves behind a legacy of tracing back the genetic lineage of the Howe, Field, and Cailler family trees back to their origins, making it part of his life's work.
He was predeceased by his brother Chet Howe, his sister Nancy Wheeler, sister-in-law Barbara Howe, brother in law Dennis Davey and grandson Bradley Howarth.
He is survived by his wife Susan, sons Jason & his wife Tricia, and Edward & his wife Rachel Howe, William, and Warren, and his daughter Elizabeth Howarth, brothers Robert, Richard and his wife Donna, Larry, and sister Sandy & her husband Michael McFeeters and sister in law Carol Howe and Kathy Davey. He is also succeeded by 14 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will forever be remembered for his caring spirit and his ability to do anything he put his mind to.
He always did it his way.
