Dorothy C. Marshall passed away in a tragic accident on Friday, May 16, 2025. Born September 29, 1944, she grew up in Gloucester, MA.
After graduating from Gloucester High School, she lived in multiple states, living the life of a military wife. After divorcing, she moved back home to Gloucester in 1982. There she became re-acquainted with child-hood friend, Wayne Marshall, who she married in 1983. They lived in Beverly, MA until 1999 when they relocated to Freedom, NH.
After running a business together in Freedom for 15+ years, they retired to Ossipee, NH where Dot enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and neighbors.
Dot is survived by husband Wayne Marshall, daughter Christine Davis and her husband Russ Davis, grandson Koden Davis and his partner Taylor Autiello, granddaughter Clay Davis, sister-in-law Sandy Town, niece Donna Town and her partner Kim Maddox, Nephew Fr. David Subu and his wife Stephanie Subu, niece Geraldine Town, and several great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she was so proud of.
Dot is pre-deceased by her parents Burr and Agnes Town, sister Marcia Subu, brother Robert B. Town, nephew Robert C. Town, and her dear cousin, Gertrude (Peggy) Shea.
Dot spread joy and love wherever she went. The world is a darker place without her in it. We will miss you, Dollymama!
Calling hours will be held at the Lord Funeral Home, 23 Club Lane, Wolfeboro, NH on May 31, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All are welcomed to attend.
